The Flow Writers’ APPROACH
HELPING YOU FIND YOUR FLOW
It all begins BY ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.
TO HELP you realise you already have the answers.
I’m not here to tell you how to write. I’m here to help you work through the stuff that might be stopping you writing. And to bring the joy back to your work. That’s what it means to be a Flow Writer.
With a combination of encouragement, clarity and cheerleading, I aim to get you fired up and back to work fast.

Why work
with a writing mentor?
~ You’ve an idea burning inside of you, but don’t know how to begin.
~ You’re stuck and don’t know how to move forward.
~ You’ve finished a draft but are afraid to let go.
I don’t believe there is one way to write, but I do believe that we all share some common things that stop us writing. Lack of confidence and fear being the big ones. I will help you trust your creative instincts and find a way past any blocks.
Why work
with an EDITOR?
~ You’ve poured your heart into your manuscript and want to make sure it shines.
~ You want the best chance of getting published.
As both an author and editor, I bring a dual perspective to your work. I understand the intricacies of storytelling and the challenges writers face. My goal is to collaborate with you, offering insights that respect your voice while enhancing your manuscript's impact.
I’ll be your story’s biggest champion – but I’ll also tell you the truth.
Sadly, there are no guarantees that your work will be published. However, I passionately believe that if you love what you write and write with joy, that will come off on the page and will vastly improve your chances of getting published.
Good editors are really the third eye. Cool. Dispassionate. They don't love you or your work; for me that is what is valuable—not compliments.”
~ Toni Morrison
WHAT IS FLOW?
Flow is a cognitive state where one is completely immersed in an activity – from painting and writing to prayer and surfboarding. It involves intense focus, creative engagement and the loss of awareness of time and self.
Any creative person will have experienced Flow – when the world seems to disappear and all that is left is you and your work. That’s what I hope to help to writers and creatives experience more of every day.
